After nearly a decade working in physical therapy, Alexis wanted to expand her ability to make an impact on her community, while remaining committed to her core mission of helping others. This prompted her to pursue an MBA with a specialization in healthcare from the University of Minnesota. During her MBA education, she was able to work with large medical device companies including Boston Scientific and Medtronic, as well as several healthcare-oriented startups to help solve their business problems. Now, as a startup consultant and business development professional, Alexis hopes to continue making a mission driven impact by working with medical and life science companies to push innovation forward. Alexis loves to travel, two of her favorite places in the world being Costa Rica and Sweden. She also loves being the “cool” aunt to her sassy niece and adorable nephews.
Charlie Zamastil, MBA - Co-Founder and Consultant
Charlie Zamastil brings over 16 years of expertise in finance, marketing, strategy, and new product development across industries, including consumer-packaged goods (CPG), medical technology, and life sciences. He is currently the marketing manager with Gardner Law, a renowned boutique law firm specializing in regulatory compliance, privacy, & litigation for FDA-regulated industries. With a proven track record of guiding start-ups through product development lifecycles, Charlie thrives on helping emerging companies achieve their business objectives and secure market success. In his spare time, Charlie enjoys riding and racing road bikes, attending live theater, and trying his hardest to make his family laugh.
Kismet Dansby - Operations and Management
Kismet contributes over 8 years experience in the Energy industry as well as a background spanning 7 years in Mathematics and Education. Kismet brings a unique blend of analytical and educational skills to every project. Over the past 5 years, she has led as a Product Owner for a team of developers maintaining cutting-edge remote data visualization tools throughout the DaaS and SaaS lifecycle. Known for her strength in building dynamic and high-performing teams, Kismet leverages individual strengths to enhance team performance while fostering a strong sense of community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and two sons, exploring new dishes through cooking, and traveling to experience new adventures.
